PRESENTATION
The title of the organization shall be the « Scottish Cultural Organization for Traditional Dance in Quebec », otherwise referred to as « ScotDance Quebec ».
The objectives are:

To maintain, within Quebec, the ancient cultural heritage of Quebec's Scottish Pioneers, by encouraging all Quebecers to appreciate the traditional dance, songs and music of Scotland and to give them the opportunity to take part in those cultural activities.

To promote throughout Quebec the aims and objectives of the Scottish Official Board of Highland Dancing as the recognized World Governing Body of Highland Dancing.

To keep members up to date on all matters relevant to Canadian Interprovincial business.

To promote, encourage and foster Highland Dancing in Quebec and in particular to provide rules, guidelines, and practical direction to the Organizers of the Provincial Selection Meet or Championship for the Canadian Interprovincial Highland Dancing Championships.

To encourage representation and input to the Canadian Interprovincial competitions.
The organization shall be carried on without purpose of gain for its members. Any profits or other gains to the organization shall be used in promoting its objectives.
